Ron Perlman who played as Hellboy is captured nicely here by Hot Toys. You even need to load the bullets for Hellboy's Big Baby.
Standing next to "Red" is a custom Ron Perlman using HeadPlay head.
Another custom Neo in The Matrix with HeadPlay head and Hacker World accessories from CMToys.
I first saw him in Head Hunters shop in CTMA building. Hong Kong would always get it first but I am lucky that I have already ordered him from Action City. I add on a mini gun and a grenade launcher as I have remembered him from the movie T2, in the scene where he and the others are set to blow up Skynet building.
There is an interchangeable robotic arm from the lower left elbow onward but I struggle too hard and even pop the whole arm off so I just leave him as it is.
Hot Toys is generous to offer Marcus Wright from Terminator Salvation with a damage head and another set of clothing which I would not miss the opportunity to fit onto another body. Buy one get one free.

Hot Toys: Aliens vs Predator
I found Drake in China Square Central with missing head gear and a right palm. I am lucky to have found the head gear on eBay later and substitute the palm with loose parts. It does not match the rubber body skin tone but it will hold the smartgun.
A history is in the making for toys, just look at the differences of the classic predator from Hot Toys in the 2010 predator movie which is released this year. The details and proportion is a nice fit for this guy.
Coming up next, Ellen Ripley and the power loader.

Hot Toys: Robo Vs ED-209
I started my 1/6 scale figure collection with soldiers mainly from a toy company called Dragon. I am impress by the details of the vest, uniform and weapons they carried.
Then, Hot Toys comes along and release my all time favorite movie character, Robocop. I had seen the movie 3 to 4 times back then and now I own it on Blu Ray. This is my first favorite 1/6 figure from Hot Toys, and I have been quite a follower to their toys.
My second piece is Darth Vader from Medicom, it is very well made figure but I am wary of the quality of materials they used in their clothing. They just do not last. Still, I do like their Star Wars figures.
Then, there is Takara's Batman Begins which at that time looks slightly better than that from Medicom and Hot Toys. Nowadays, Hot Toys kept releasing great looking master pieces from superheros to movie characters and my collections just grow along with it.
Heard that Hot Toys is coming up with Cain as Robocop2. It will be great to have him. Until then, here is Robocop and his nemesis, ED-209.

The color of the armor is not quite the shade of that in movie 1 and the neck is a little thin but I like the rest of it.
ED-209 toes are not movable so it can't really do much more posing than this. Metallic toes would have been great, much like those found in Quarter Macross from Bandai of the anime; Macross Frontier.
I tried ED-209 with a backdrop here but the lighting is just not enough and I would better stick with a clean background. After all, what matters is the sharing of the fine details of the toy.

Batman Begins: Tumbler
Here is my custom paint job on TYCO RC Batman Tumbler. It took me a month and it still needs some touch up with paint here and there. Very impressive in term of size as it claims to be 1/6 scale and it runs on Ni-Mh battery but really fall short on the distance. It would stop not more than 10 meters away.
I manage to find 2 of these in eBay and shipped them back to Singapore. I tested them and found both to be in working conditions and with LED lights but they are in yellow.
Borrow the idea from a RC forum and I went for 2 pairs of IMEX Swamp Dawgs (Soft) Tire #7404. These are rubber tires which will wrap over the original half rubber and half plastic tires. This gives the tumbler a more realistic looks.
The left tumbler is completed with IMEX tires and it really adds some weight to the tumbler.
Now for the painting. Any parts that are not meant to be color is masked with tape.
Top coat is sprayed on and follow by a white base.
Ship deck color is sprayed on over the white coat and it will appear lighter in color.
The camouflage brown is sprayed on after careful masking out the patterns on the tumbler.
Carefully remove the masking tape to review the finished patterns.
Here is the finished prototype tumbler as when Bruce Wayne test drive it before asking whether it comes in black.

Taking apart the original tires. The IMEX tires inner diameter is enlarged and wrapped around the original tires.
Left side is completely wrapped with IMEX tires to show the different.
